Early Life

Piff the Magic Dragon was born John van der Put in London, England. He decided to become a magician after witnessing the performance of Jerry Sadowitz on Stuff the White Rabbit. Piff became one of the youngest members of The Magic Circle after joining the organization at the age of 18. On the other hand, his parents were not sure about his career as a magician and encouraged him to obtain a Computer Science degree.

At the beginning of his career, he co-founded and became the artistic director of the theatrical cabaret company, standnotamazed.
